Full & Partial Dentures in Candia, NH
Do you have missing teeth? Please don’t give up hope!
At Hillside Family Dental Care, we want you to enjoy the confidence that comes with a complete, natural-looking smile.
Dentures Improve Quality of Life
Dr. Emily Pakula and the team at Hillside Family Dental Care see the effect a missing tooth can have on a patient’s life. A gap in your smile can make it hard to eat, so you may not get all the vitamins and minerals your body needs for good health. If you find it difficult to speak with a missing tooth, you may be tempted to hide your smile or stay quiet around others.
But at our Candia, NH dental office we offer customized full and partial dentures that let you smile confidently and go back to enjoying life.
What Full and Partial Dentures Do
Dentures are designed to allow you to eat and speak comfortably again by doing the work of your missing teeth. They improve your appearance by replacing missing teeth and filling out your face for a fresh, more youthful look.
We work with two types of dentures:
- Full dentures are used when all teeth are missing from your upper jaw, lower jaw, or both. We create full dentures that fit comfortably and look natural.
- We use partial dentures when some of your natural teeth still remain. The partial is designed to fit in and around empty spaces left behind and is held in place with metal clasps.
We Create Dentures Just for Your Smile
If you are worried that your new dentures won’t look natural, be prepared for a pleasant surprise! We want you to be happy with the results so you feel proud about showing off your new smile.
Dr. Pakula will work with you to plan your new dentures down to the smallest detail. We choose the base color so that it closely matches your gum color. Then we plan the shape, size, and color of the artificial teeth for the most natural appearance.
Since we want you to be thrilled with the results, Dr. Pakula will create a wax model of your new denture that you can try. You will be able to see how the denture will look and fit, and we can make adjustments as needed. All this information is sent to a dental lab where your new dentures are created just for you.
A Solid Foundation for Your Dentures
One of the most common complaints is that dentures shift and move, leading to embarrassing and awkward moments. If you are interested in making sure your new denture has a solid foundation, we can recommend dental implants. We place the implants in your jaw, and the new denture is designed to snap in place over the implants.
You will end up with a set of dentures that looks natural, feels comfortable, and won’t shift when you eat, laugh, or sneeze.
