General Dentistry in Candia, NH
Dr. Emily Pakula and our team at Hillside Family Dental Care want to make sure that each detail of your visit with us is the best it can be. It’s easier for you to keep regular dental appointments when you are in a relaxed setting with people you know and trust.
We understand that some patients don’t like dental visits, which often results in poor oral health and more complex treatment in the future. You may not look forward to seeing the dentist, but we think our gentle one-on-one approach and sincere concern for your well-being will completely change your attitude about dental visits.
You can also be confident knowing that we have been treating generations of the same families at our Candia, NH dental office for decades. We treat you like family, and our patients appreciate that they see the same friendly, familiar faces every time they visit.
Comprehensive Dental Care
Routine dental care should be a priority for everyone, and we make it as easy as possible for your family to get the dental treatments you need. If you have a tight schedule, you will appreciate that we can address most of your dental concerns right here in one convenient location.
It’s important to start kids off with a positive dental experience. We see children beginning at age one when their baby teeth are just starting to appear.
Even though baby teeth will be lost, they play a crucial role in your child’s dental development. We need to protect them and keep them healthy until they are ready to come out on their own.
If you want to stay a step ahead of dental problems, you need to schedule regular appointments for dental exams and cleanings. We love our patients, but we would rather visit with you in the grocery store than in our dental chair!
Our variety of family dental services includes fillings, extractions, and root canals. You can be confident that during any treatment you receive, our caring team will do everything possible to ensure your complete comfort.
Convenient and Accessible Dentistry
Our team at Hillside Family Dental Care will work with you to schedule appointments that fit your family’s busy work and school schedules. If you or your child has an emergency, we can usually see you the same day so you can get the relief you need as quickly as possible.
Everyone is concerned about insurance coverage and financing these days. We are providers for Delta Dental Premiere, but we accept all insurance and will file your claim for you. If you’re interested in payment options for out-of-pocket expenses, we accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and also offer CareCredit interest-free financing.

We couldn't be happier!
We are new to Hillside Family Dental Care and after a couple visits we couldn't be happier. My son had a REALLY rough experience with our first dentist and was petrified to go again, but he went from tears in the waiting room to smiles after his appointment and we couldn't have more thankful and relieved!

Frequently Asked Questions
We create tooth-colored fillings using a composite material that looks a lot like your natural tooth structure. These fillings look much better than older white fillings because they blend in so well with your enamel that the repair is not noticeable.
The composite material is designed to be bonded to all surfaces of your tooth to hold it together and protect it from wear. Because of the way the filling material is made, we only need to remove a tiny portion of your tooth. This is important because our goal is to keep as much of your natural tooth intact as we can.
With older amalgam (silver) fillings, the dentist had to remove a lot of healthy tooth structure to create a filling. The amalgam was placed in the cavity but did not bond to the tooth as tooth-colored fillings do. Over time, this makes the tooth brittle and prone to fracture.
At Hillside Family Dental Care, we want you to be aware of all the options we offer to ensure your good oral health. Tooth-colored fillings improve your oral health and look good doing it. If you have a question about tooth-colored fillings, please give us a call so we can arrange a time to meet and discuss your needs.
